Spiced Butternut-Pumpkin Shooters

Deliciously spiced shooters. This recipe yields more than enough for appetizer-size servings. Divide up the leftovers and freeze for last minute snacks during the busy month of December.


  • 2 tablespoons grape seed oil
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 1 leek, thinly sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  • 1 small pumpkin, peeled and cubed
  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1 (32-ounce) container low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup VOSKOS® Plain Greek Yogurt, plus extra for garnish
  • Parsley or Cilantro, minced, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
